Join the ladies of Hinterland & our sponsor, Country House Realty, for a day full of engaging hands-on activities, celebrating art, design & nature. Drop in to any number of family fun experiences meant to inform & excite your inner creative self, children under 12 are welcome for free.

• Learn about plant dying and rejuvenating a textile from your home in a Shibori dye bath

• Look at nature in a new way via the creation of your own teleidoscope

• Take home your own mini enfleurage chassis for perfume making

• Make your own hand woven & ceramic beaded keychain

• Meet the Hinterland mascot, Jay the angora rabbit

• Enjoy a campfire roasted lunch

• Get acquainted with native flora through our nature scavenger hunt

• Watch a stained glass demo of traditional copper foil techniques

• Leave your mark on a collaborative fabric painting experience

• Finish the day with live music from local funk band Freek's Garage

Make sure to wear suitable clothing, some of our activities could be messy! Come with a T-shirt, pillowcase, bandanna or other small cotton item to drop in the shibori dye bath. Hinterland's signature lavender sage soda & seasonal spring bites are included are included in the ticket price. Hungry for more? Camp fire roasted lunch available for purchase.
