The Hinterland Co-op designed the primary bedroom for its space in the fifth annual Kingston Design Showhouse in 2022!

METATEM: The co-creation of reality we all unconsciously participate in every moment of our lives. The Ladies of Hinterland invite you to engage with your senses open and engage offered tools to play with this dialectic, the interplay between your cognitive processes and the external world for what ultimately becomes your perception.

Rhythm of Light is a collaborative installation featuring the work of Co-op members Katie Westmoreland and Nyamka Ayinde that explores the vibration of the Summer Solstice through light, sound, color and movement.

We create a vision board and color palette and then return to our respective studios to dig deep into how this motif, this imagery and these colors inspire us.
