Please join us for our Opening Reception to kick off an art-filled, fun-packed Upstate Art Weekend!

This year we are exploring the theme of TIME.
We are interested in how time operates as a field in the universe, how we experience it subjectively, how we are subject to its nature and how it can be manipulated. Themes that arise through our contemplation are decay, mortality, nostalgia, deja vu, "the future and the past" as places and the invitation of the present moment.
Travel through a collaboratively designed and built portal that leads to a collection of individual installations on this theme by various Hinterland artists and makers. The portal is a direct meditation on 'process' as a function of time.
Hinterland will also be hosting an artist/maker market all day Saturday and Sunday with local vendors.
Our weekend will conclude with a daytime party featuring DJ Vickie Star. Come spend some *quality time* with the ladies of Hinterland and let's get weird!
