We are located in Shokan, New York, an emerging destination in the heart of the Catskills for all things beautiful and delicious (and often a little weird).
We are a growing community of female-identifying markers, artists and designers. We are a home goods and services design studio. We are perpetually lost and can often be found in the hinterland of our collective creative process. It’s wild here.
By shopping Hinterland or patronizing our services, you are always supporting a woman-owned business and an organization dedicated to returning value to the community that supports it. 70% of all proceeds go directly to the maker. The other 30% goes to the operational costs of our collective so we can continue to expand our reach and do good, meaningful work!
